A collection of poems written by members of the Lancashire Authors Association. This was a group formed out of the regular meetings held at the Sun Inn on Long Millgate, which became known as Poets' Corner. Several members of the group achieved some considerable success and notoriety, in particular Isabella Varley (Mrs Banks), John Critchley Prince, Ner Gardiner, Samuel Bamford, Elijah Ridings and Robert Rose, 'the Bard of Colour'. These and other authors are represented in this compilation.
