This is the 'Water Chute' designed by Sir Leslie Joseph and built at Belle Vue in 1957.

Thanks for the info. Photo caption will be amended accordingly. This moved to Blackpool Pleasure Beach after closure of Belle Vue and at one stage was called 'Vikingar'. Do you know if it is still there ?
