Description

Material donated by local historian Robert Nicholls, whose books, Looking Back at Belle Vue and The Belle Vue Story, are the classic Belle Vue sources. The collection includes four significant scrapbooks of press cuttings, documents, programmes and a collection of circus slides taken by Peter Slade. This collection also includes a fifth scrapbook from 1925-1030 deposited by David Boardman.
