Records daily financial transactions, with both income and expenditure. All transactions are
referenced to entries in the ledger book (D.2.21).
D.2.21 Trading ledger, Sept 1749-July 1792
Contains financial records of trading voyages, income derived from property rents,
domestic purchases, property maintenance, wife's allowances, and balanced accounts for
individuals with whom business transactions or personal financial dealings had taken place.
Both volumes belong to the Tonge Collection.
