f. 2r Police Office Manchr 27th Augt 1819. At a numerous and highly respectable meeting of the loyal inhabitants of Manchester, Salford and the neighbourhood held here this day John Moore Junr Esqre in the Chair It was resolved unanimously 1st That a subscription be immediately entered into for the relief of the Special Constables who have suffered or who may suffer in the discharge of their Official Duty during the disturbed State of these Towns and the neighbourhood which relief may in extraordinary cases be applied to the families of the suffering parties ... Trustees appointed. Treasurer Edward Loyd. Resolutions to be printed.

f. 1r Police Office Manchester, Septr 15th 1819. At a meeting of the Committee in aid of the Civil Power. Jonn Andrew Esqre in the Chair. It was resolved  That the Gentlemen who were appointed to canvass the respective districts of the Town for the Augmentation of the Armed association be desired to solicit subscriptions in their respective districts in aid of the Fund for relieving such Special Constables who have suffered or who may suffer in the discharge of their Official duty during the disturbed State of these Towns and the Neighbourhood.
